Peugeot 404 Cabriolet Pininfarina -1968

This Peugeot 404 Cabriolet is designed and built by "PininFarina". Limited production of only 10,389 units between 1961 and 1968, of which a small fraction is said to be left worldwide. The stylish design also counts as a real four-seater.

 

Year of construction 1968: of the last model, with the round clocks, the new steering wheel and fog lamps in the grille. The Peugeot has a beautiful classic color scheme: Arosa white with black leather upholstery and black linen soft top.

 

The Peugeot is in a good state yet not concours condition, but in a nice presenting and reliable driving condition. The last owner owned the car for 20 years and had it serviced by a classic Peugeot specialist. There the Peugeot was equipped with 4 new Michelin XZX tires and a new battery 2 years ago. When turning the key, the engine starts immediately and the Peugeot drives, shifts and brakes properly, as it should. The car is equipped with an LPG installation and drives on LPG, all distances. The Peugeot has a beautiful appearance, the bodywork, the paintwork and the chrome, except for a few signs of wear, are still neat and the bottom is hard and solid. The interior is still neat with black leather upholstery. The soft top is in very good condition. A luggage rack is mounted on the back and the hardtop that was optional at the time is included in the purchase.
