What a beautiful and extraordinary example is this Peugeot 404 Cabriolet! Beautiful design by Pininfarina only 10.389 examples produced. From the third series with the fog lights in the grille, dashboard with the round clocks and new model steering wheel. In magnificent color combination: "Gris Claire Métalisé" with black leather upholstery and black linnen soft top.

This beautifull Peugeot 404 Cabriolet Injection has the improved BA7 transmission with the optional Nardi floor shifter. Original Dutch delivered by Dealer "Nefkens" and with an interesting history of the first owner who bought it's first 404 Cabriolet in 1962. And because the car suited him so well, he decided to buy at last a new one in 1969. With it he made far journeys abroad.

The Peugeot has been once restored while maintaining it's unique originality. The paintwork and the chrome are all still in a very beautifull condition with minor traces of wear. The bodywork and underside are still original and rustfree. The interior is very beautifull condition with black leather seats. The dashboard with the three round clocks in a beautifull shape and all instruments working. 

 

The last owner owned the car for more than 30 years and he used the Peugeot for recreational purposes in dry weather and kept it dry stored. He had the car regularly serviced by a classic Peugeot specialist of which a log has been precisely kept. The Peugeot is equipped with petrol injection which performs very well. When turning the key, the engine starts immediately and the Peugeot drives, steers and brakes properly, as it should.
